Loan Officer
Duties:
- Evaluate loan applications and determine the creditworthiness of applicants
- Review financial documents, such as income statements and credit reports, to assess the risk involved in granting loans
- Interview loan applicants to gather additional information and clarify any discrepancies
- Analyze loan options and recommend the most suitable loan products to clients
- Prepare loan packages and submit them to underwriters for approval
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of loan applications and client interactions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a bank or financial institution is preferred
- Proficient in loan structuring and math calculations
- Familiarity with contract terms and conditions
