About the Role:

The Washbay/Yard position plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of rental equipment and vehicles within the rental and leasing services industry. This role ensures that all equipment returned from rental is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for the next customer, thereby upholding company standards and enhancing customer satisfaction. The individual in this position will manage the yard area, ensuring that all assets are stored safely and efficiently to optimize space and accessibility. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.


• Previous experience in equipment cleaning, vehicle washing, or a related role preferred but not required.


• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely.


• Basic understanding of safety and environmental regulations.


• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in rental, leasing, or fleet management environments.


• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and washing of rental equipment and vehicles to meet company quality standards.


• Inspect equipment for damage or maintenance needs during the cleaning process and report findings to the maintenance team.


• Assist with yard duties as needed.


• Organize and maintain the yard area to ensure safe and efficient storage of all rental assets.


• Operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and effectively, following all safety guidelines and protocols.


• Coordinate with rental and maintenance teams to manage equipment flow and readiness for customer rentals.


• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment status, and yard inventory.


• Adhere to environmental and safety regulations related to waste disposal and chemical use in the washbay.
