About the Role:

The Rollback position within the Rental and Leasing Services industry is a critical role focused on the safe and efficient operation of rollback trucks to transport rental equipment and vehicles. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements as required by local regulations.


• Proven experience operating rollback or flatbed trucks in a commercial setting.


• Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment loading and securing techniques.


• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.


• Basic mechanical aptitude to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the rental and leasing services industry or related fields.


• Familiarity with GPS and routing software to optimize delivery schedules.


• Additional certifications in vehicle safety or transportation logistics.


• Strong customer service experience in a transportation or equipment rental environment.


• Ability to operate additional types of heavy equipment or trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate rollback trucks to load, transport, and unload rental equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.


• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after transport to ensure proper condition and report any damages or issues.


• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries in a timely manner.


• Maintain accurate records of transported equipment, mileage, and delivery times.


• Perform routine maintenance checks on rollback trucks and report any mechanical problems to the maintenance team.


• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during all transportation activities.


• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and addressing customer concerns during pick-up and delivery.
