We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team at Black Diamond Coffee Company! MUST have a MINIMUM 2 1/2-3 years experience.
We're a fast paced doubled sided drive thru.
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, positive & welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coffee preparation and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Since we're a fast paced DOUBLE SIDED Espresso Stand, you must be a quick learner & handle pressure.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar systems is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
