Black Cat Wear Parts, DeWitt, IA facility, a global manufacturer of Quality Wear Parts for the construction, road maintenance and mining industries is currently accepting resumes for a Maintenance Technician. This is a 2nd shift position working 4-10 hour days, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am.
Essential Job Functions
- Familiar with sawing, drilling, milling, and punching equipment and ability to trouble shoot/repair.
- Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
- Uses in-house and outsourced scheduling methodology
- Conducts analysis of project requirements
- Supports Black Cat’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program
- Understands safety job planning requirements
- Working knowledge of various safety programs including lockout/tagout, fall protection, confined space, personal protective equipment
- Applies lean principles to achieve organizational results
- Applies expertise in designated area to support the business
- Applies best approach practices/principles
Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED, able to lift 50 lbs., be a quick learner, safety and quality conscious, team oriented and thrives in a diversified work environment. Must have minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance experience.
