What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Program Coordinator position at Black Canyon Boys and Girls Club?
Black Canyon Boys & Girls Club - Programming staff
Position Description
Supervisor: Assistant Site Director
Supervises: Club Members
General Function – Program Adult Staff
At the Black Canyon Boys & Girls Club (BCBGC), our mission is to enable all young people—especially those who need us most—to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Through our after school and 9-week Summer Program, we provide fun, safe, and enriching activities for youth ages 6 to 18.
As an Adult Staff Member, you’ll play a key role in creating and leading engaging programs—often based on your own interests and talents. At BCBGC, we believe that when our staff are excited and enthusiastic, our members are too. You’ll serve as a vital connection between Club Members, fellow teammates, Directors, and Club Families.
In addition to leading general activities, you may also be asked to implement grant-funded programs that support our members’ academic, emotional, and social development.
If you have too much energy for a traditional desk job, this could be the perfect fit! Rather than a typical classroom structure, our staff lead by example—actively participating in games, arts, STEM activities, and more alongside our members. The more we engage with our kids, the more meaningful the impact.
We’re looking for creative, flexible self-starters who are passionate about working with youth of all ages. Consistency is important—you will become a familiar, trusted face to the children in your care.
Responsibilities:
- Facililtating programs that follow the Boys & Girls Club standards for High Quality Sessions.

- Mediate club member conflicts and facilitate a Club environment for youth of all ages and backgrounds.
