General Overview:
Come join the Spa team at Black Butte Ranch in beautiful Sisters, Oregon. This role oversees the Spa and Retail operations at the Glaze Meadow Sport Shop (GMSS) and Lakeside Bistro. Responsible for daily operations, guest service standards, staffing, training, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, sales performance, and overall department success.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily Spa and Retail operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff (full-time and seasonal).
Manage purchasing, receiving, inventory control, merchandising, and vendor relationships.
Develop and maintain an effective Open-to-Buy plan and achieve targeted margins.
Monitor sales performance, track income, and complete statistical and financial reporting.
Develop annual operating and capital budgets.
Ensure clean, professional, and well-maintained facilities.
Collaborate with other departments and support cross-functional initiatives.
Handle customer concerns, staff issues, and operational problem-solving.
Participate in meetings, promotions, and strategic business development efforts.
Qualifications
Minimum three years of management experience in retail and/or spa operations.
Experience in purchasing, merchandising, sales, and marketing.
Strong skills in budgeting, inventory management, and personnel supervision.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
