MIS Manager

Job Functions:

• Plan, manage, and oversee all IT and data processing activities across the organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, hardware, and software issues, both remotely and on-site.
• Setup and maintain databases, and develop new programs or reports for user departments as needed.
• Implement and supervise regular maintenance schedules for network systems and servers.
• Provide physical IT support including workstation setup, hardware resets, and printer troubleshooting.
• Serve as on-site liaison for remote IT staff, vendors, and consultants during outages, maintenance, or upgrades.
• Supervise IT personnel (if applicable), including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
• Analyze departmental technology needs and provide IT solutions and consulting.
• Maintain documentation, backup files, and implement effective cybersecurity measures.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage relationships for software, hardware, and service procurement.
• Present annual IT reports and quarterly updates related to department goals and progress.
• Document all technical tasks and issues; coordinate resolutions with remote support when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualification:

• Intermediate programming knowledge.
• Working knowledge of PC hardware, office networking, and server environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with vendor management and IT procurement.
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
