Black Box Bakery is a wholesale and online retail bakery, dedicated to bringing unique laminated pastries to the city of Denver. Accompanied by a whimsical space theme, Black Box Bakery is looking to give Denverits an out of this world experience.
As a baker at Black Box Bakery your primary job is to organize and complete daily production with a sense of urgency. This will include high volume production of doughs, cookies and various fillings. We are looking to hire an employee who has a passion for pastry, is a team player and has a strong work ethic. We love creativity and enjoy brainstorming over new ideas!
Primary Responsibilities:
-maintain a professional image, including bakery cleanliness, uniform and upholding bakery expectations
-high volume production of croissant dough, butter blocks, scones, cookies and fillings
- The baker must be able to work late hours (current shifts start at 3PM until 2 AM)
- Must be able to lift 50# flour bags
Experience
- 1 Years of Experience as a pastry cook or baker
