Job Summary –

Black Bear Hemp Dispensary is hiring for Wellness Consultants. Our Wellness Consultants are personable, product experts that provide stellar customer service to the patrons of the store. Ensuring compliance to all state and applicable laws is a requirement for all team members.

Wellness Consultants will assist patrons by providing insights, consultations, and performing retail transactions. The ideal Wellness Consultant has passion for customer service or patient care and has a thorough understanding of the cannabis plants effects and components.

Job Duties –

• Assist patrons by helping them choose the correct products for their needs
• Understand differences in product administration methods
• Understand varying effects of all products
• Suggest safe dosage starting points
• Accurate cash counting and handling
• Adherence to state and applicable laws
• Perform daily transactions and cash close procedures.
• Accurately receive product deliveries
• Ensure sanitization is at a premium level, to include hourly and daily cleaning
• Support management in periodic administrative tasks
• Perform inventory check and audits
• Maintain hard copy files when requested
• Occasional preparation of online orders for fulfillment
• Restock inventory and merchandise displays
• Prepare, weigh, and package deli-style product purchases for patrons
• Prepare, seal, and serve beverages
• Weekend shifts required

Required Experience -

• 5 years in customer service, dispensary experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Self – Starter mentality
• Desire to help a business grow at a rapid pace
• Ability to gain thorough understanding of cannabinoids, terpenes, symptoms, and active ingredients, current understanding preferred
• Ability to maintain compliance in the highest regard

Additional Requirements –

Must be 21 to apply

Weekends are mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
