Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including the dining area, kitchen, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items meet health and safety standards.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with their orders.
- Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
- Strong math skills, including retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
