Black Bear Brand is looking for a creative individual to join our studio in Seattle's Madrona neighborhood for a three-month internship focused on storytelling, media, branding, and creative development.
This is an opportunity to experience the inner workings of an independent luxury clothing brand and contribute to the creative process behind how a brand communicates with the world.
This is not a traditional marketing internship.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling, visual media, fashion, branding, and craftsmanship. Marketing is the vehicle, but the focus is crafting stories, refining content, and helping shape how the brand is presented.
The Creative Media Intern will work directly under the creative direction of Black Bear Brand founder Josh Sirlin. The role will focus on editing, organizing, refining, and developing creative content that supports the needs of the brand.
Responsibilities- Edit and refine video content for digital platforms
- Help craft stories from existing photo and video assets
- Support creative content development
- Assist with organizing and managing creative assets
- Help prepare content for social media and digital channels
- Research creative ideas, references, and inspiration
- Support brand initiatives as needed
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for storytelling, fashion, visual media, and branding
- Has experience with professional creative software
- Has strong attention to detail and creative judgment
- Is eager to learn and contribute
- Works hard and takes pride in their work
- Is open to feedback and collaboration
- Experience with professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
- Familiarity with creative programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom is a plus
- Portfolio or examples of creative work required
