This position is responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous materials in cargo tank motor vehicles throughout the western United States.

Drivers are trusted to make sound decisions while operating with a high degree of independence.
Duties
As a Professional Chemical Tanker Driver, you will:
- Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped with tanker and refrigerated trailers to transport hazardous materials and freight across designated routes.
- Safely transport hazardous materials in accordance with all DOT, FMCSA, PHMSA, OSHA, and company requirements.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
- Verify cargo security, placarding, documentation, and shipping papers.
- Inspect cargo tanks, valves, fittings, vents, hoses, pumps, and emergency equipment.
- Safely load and unload hazardous materials following customer-specific procedures.
- Maintain complete Hours-of-Service compliance utilizing Electronic Logging Devices.
- Immediately identify and report equipment deficiencies or safety concerns.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards for assigned equipment.
- Build professional relationships with customers and facility personnel.
- Represent Black Basin Infrastructure with professionalism at every location.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (X Endorsement Preferred)
- Current DOT Medical Certificate
- Minimum two years verifiable CDL Class A experience
- Minimum one year tanker experience preferred
- Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background investigation
- Safe driving record with professional references
