Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during service periods
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and setup
- Ensure proper storage of clean items and organize dishware for efficient access
- Follow health and safety standards to uphold sanitation regulations
- Assist with catering events or banquet setups when required
- Support the kitchen team with general cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or culinary activities is a plus
- Prior banquet, hotel, or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required
