Role Description This full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role is based at the Menomonee Falls (Greater Milwaukee) facility. The Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoring and improving product and process quality, including conducting inspections, audits, and root cause analyses for nonconformances. Daily activities include developing and maintaining quality documentation, supporting corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements. The role also involves analyzing quality data and metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting customer quality concerns and certifications. The Quality Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of quality standards across manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering, including process improvement and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with Quality Control activities such as inspections, testing, and measurement systems.
- Background in Quality Assurance, including audits, documentation, and compliance with standards.
- Knowledge of Product Quality requirements, customer specifications, and performance validation.
- Capability in Quality Management practices, including use of quality metrics, continuous improvement tools, and support of ISO-based systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools, statistical techniques, and quality software systems.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in automotive, heavy truck, or industrial OEM manufacturing is preferred.
