Family Law Paralegal

Job Overview

Very busy family law litigation practice seeking a highly motivated, very positive, competent paralegal to fill a full time position running our family law cases. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, assisting attorneys with case management, legal research, document preparation, and client communication. The Family Law Paralegal will play a vital role in ensuring efficient case progression and maintaining high standards of legal support.

Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Family Law. Must be able to draft pleadings, e-file responses, settlement documents, respond to discovery, have a strong attention to detail, great organizational skills, and punctual.

Proficient in Word, Outlook, Clio, and Family Law Software preferred.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Assist attorneys with case preparation
• Prepare discovery requests, subpoenas, and trial exhibits
• Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems for case documentation
• Provide administrative support including proofreading, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines
• Provide excellent customer service
• Support litigation processes through document review and case management activities
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and other parties involved in cases
• Assist with project management tasks to ensure timely progression of cases

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
