Crew Chief

Our growth offers an opportunity for an experienced Survey Technician/Crew Chief to join our team, focusing on field data processing, boundary determination, and digital mapping using advanced survey technologies. Local travel required 25-50% of time.

The selected candidate must have 4 years’ experience in Survey Tech or Boundary Surveying, Construction Stakeout, and ALTA Surveys, with proficiency in Civil3D. Experience with Microstation, Leica Infinity, and Bluebeam Revu is preferred.

The role involves converting field notes into electronic survey maps, processing horizontal and vertical field data, interpreting deed descriptions, utilizing CAD software for survey operations, and creating Digital Terrain Models. Strong technical and analytical skills are essential.

We are seeking an experienced Survey Technician/Crew Chief to join our team. This role involves field data processing, boundary determination, and digital mapping using advanced survey technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert field notes and sketches into electronic survey maps

• Process horizontal and vertical field data using survey coordinate geometry programs

• Interpret and plot deed descriptions for boundary determination

• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation for survey operations

• Create Digital Terrain Models (DTM) for contour generation

• Follow company management techniques and drawing standards

• Travel locally 25-50% of the time, with occasional overnight stays

Required Qualifications

• 4 years experience as Survey Tech or in Boundary Surveying, Construction Stakeout, and ALTA Surveys

• Proficiency in Civil3D

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu

• Strong technical and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microstation and Leica Infinity

• Background in construction stakeout

• Knowledge of ALTA survey requirements
