Are you an environmental professional ready to take ownership of and regulatory relationships for established operations? We're seeking an Environmental Specialist to be our go-to expert for Texas oil & gas environmental.
What You'll Do:
- Lead environmental for Barnett Shale operations
- Interface directly with TCEQ, RRC, and federal agencies during inspections
- Manage soil/water remediation projects and spill response
- Conduct air quality and permitting (including Quad O reporting)
- Oversee SPCC planning, waste management, and stormwater
- Train operations teams on environmental requirements
- Handle legacy ecological liabilities and cleanup projects
What We're Looking For:
✅ 3-5 years oil & gas environmental experience (operator or consulting)
✅ Knowledge of Texas Railroad Commission & TCEQ regulations
✅ Air quality and permitting expertise
✅ 4-year degree required (preferably Environmental Science, Engineering, or related science field)
✅ Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently ✅ Comfortable with local travel and minimal fieldwork
