The Role
BKV Corporation is a $2B publicly traded company operating across natural gas, carbon capture, power generation, and operations. We need a strategic finance partner to our CFO who coordinates execution while he manages investors, Board dynamics, and capital markets.
This isn't project coordination—it's operational orchestration of finance strategy.
You'll own:
- Coordinating critical finance initiatives across investor relations, capital markets, treasury, and strategic projects
- Project managing cross-functional work involving operations, commercial, legal, and technical teams
- Supporting Board reporting cycles, earnings processes, and executive analysis
- Building relationships across departments to drive accountability without formal authority
- Troubleshooting bottlenecks and keeping initiatives on track when the CFO is unavailable
You're the Right Fit If:
✅ Finance foundation: Big 4 audit, FP&A, treasury, corporate finance, or consulting background (6 years)
✅ Technical fluency: You understand debt structures, financial modeling, capital markets, and treasury operations
✅ Professional pedigree: Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, McKinsey, Bain, top MBA program, or Fortune 500 finance rotational program
✅ Thrive in ambiguity: You prioritize competing demands, troubleshoot independently, and coordinate without constant direction
✅ Influence without authority: You build relationships across departments, ask smart questions, and drive results
✅ Denver-committed: Already here or relocating immediately (3-4 days/week in-office minimum—this role requires hallway conversations and real-time CFO access - remote won't work)
