CDL-A Tanker Drivers Needed – Delivery Drivers & Yard Spotters – Cambridge, OH

Two Full-Time Positions Available:

• Oilfield Chemical Delivery Driver – 26%–30% of Gross Revenue
• CDL-A Yard Spotter – $25–$30 per Hour

BKT Trucking is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for our operation in Cambridge, Ohio. We currently have openings for both oilfield chemical delivery drivers and yard spotters.

Position 1: Oilfield Chemical Delivery Driver

Delivery drivers transport frac chemicals from customer facilities to wellsites and oilfield locations throughout the region.

This is hands-on tanker work. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting and unloading each load, completing required paperwork, following customer and company safety procedures, and properly caring for the equipment.

Delivery Driver Pay

• Start at 26% of gross revenue for the first 120 days
• Increase to 28% from day 121 through the completion of the first year
• Pay is reviewed annually after the first year based on performance
• Opportunity to earn up to 30% of gross revenue
• Estimated earning potential of approximately $90,000–$130,000 per year, depending on workload, availability, performance, and time worked

Delivery Driver Schedule

This is an oilfield operation, and dispatch times may vary based on customer demand.

Drivers living near the Cambridge operating area may receive frequent home time depending on workload. Once trained and placed into the regular rotation, consistent scheduled days off may be arranged based on operational needs.

Drivers living farther away may work rotations such as approximately three weeks working followed by six to seven days off.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Transport oilfield and frac chemicals
• Deliver and unload products at customer wellsites
• Safely operate pumps, compressors, hoses, and tanker equipment
• Complete bills of lading, delivery tickets, and other required paperwork
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow BKT, customer, DOT, and site-specific safety procedures
• Properly care for tractors, trailers, hoses, and unloading equipment
• Work safely in changing schedules, weather, road, and oilfield conditions

Position 2: CDL-A Yard Spotter

The yard spotter is responsible for preloading, moving, staging, and organizing customer ISO tanks and other equipment at the Cambridge yard.

This is a full-time hourly position and is separate from the delivery-driver role.

Yard Spotter Pay

• $25–$30 per hour
• Starting rate will be based on experience and qualifications
• Full-time position

Yard Spotter Responsibilities

• Move and stage ISO tanks and trailers within the yard
• Assist with preloading and preparing equipment for delivery
• Organize loaded and empty equipment
• Inspect equipment before and after movement
• Properly connect and disconnect tractors and trailers
• Follow all yard, customer, and company safety procedures
• Communicate with dispatch, loading personnel, and delivery drivers
• Keep the yard organized and equipment positioned correctly

General Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Tanker endorsement required
• Minimum three years of CDL-A experience preferred
• Tanker experience strongly preferred
• Oilfield experience preferred but not required
• Product-loading or unloading experience preferred for delivery drivers
• ISO-tank or yard-spotting experience preferred for the yard position
• Must follow all company, customer, DOT, and safety requirements
• Must properly care for company and customer equipment
• Must be dependable and willing to work around changing operational demands

Equipment and Support

• Late-model Western Star, Peterbilt, and Kenworth tractors
• Stainless-steel smooth-bore tanker trailers
• ISO tanks and other customer equipment
• Paid travel and hotel for orientation when applicable
• Paid orientation and training
• PPE provided, excluding boots and FR clothing
• Opportunities may be available to work in other BKT operating regions
