Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as edging, trimming, planting, mowing, mulching, general yard work
- Maintain tools and equipment in a neat organized fashion
- verify work is quality and work well within a team
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening
- Ability to operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers and blowers
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety guidelines and work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical stamina for tasks involving lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape techniques is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, tree care, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation
