As a key contributor to our customers' supply chain efficiency, the Customer Service & Operations Specialist supports a dedicated portfolio of BK Sterling accounts. In this role, you will collaborate with customers, suppliers, third-party warehouses, and freight carriers to write contracts, process purchase orders, coordinate order logistics, and provide backup support to other team members as needed.

About You

Responsibilities
- Own the overall order and service experience for your assigned clients.
- Draft, review, and send multiple contracts daily to customers and suppliers, ensuring all details are accurate and consistent.
- Manage purchase orders and releases, including requesting release information from suppliers and communicating updates to clients.
- Maintain data accuracy by uploading, organizing, and managing all relevant documentation in our system.
- Monitor active client contracts to ensure they are pulling within contract periods, partnering with sales when clients approach low balances.
- Provide frontline customer support, including answering and routing inbound calls.
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed, such as data entry, sending client information, and uploading documents.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment, even under pressure.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate within a small team.
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Self-starter. Resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Proficient with computers; experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and CRM systems is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably customer support or logistics in a dynamic environment.
- This is a full-time in-office position.
