Position Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Property Specialist at BK Management in West Lafayette, Indiana. The Property Specialist oversees daily operations related to leasing and lease administration, property management, resident relations and retention, and the supervision and development of team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Show units to prospective tenants and process move-in paperwork for qualified applicants
- Promote our communities and deliver outstanding customer service to prospective tenants
- Respond promptly to calls and emails from residents and applicants
- Conduct market research and lead marketing initiatives to increase occupancy (e.g., social media, events, outreach)
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners to expand managed properties
- Participate in weekly team meetings and report on leasing and marketing performance
- Achieve sales and occupancy goals while maintaining a strong closing ratio
- Complete required administrative and leasing documentation accurately
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of leases, market research, and lease administration
- Previous experience in property management and resident retention
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in AppFolio is a plus
