Duties
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire suppression systems at gas station facilities, including dry chemical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, system design documents, and drawings to ensure proper installation and upgrades
- Conduct semi-annual inspections to verify compliance with safety codes and local regulations
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades efficiently
- Perform field service visits to diagnose system failures or malfunctions promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with construction teams on new installations or modifications of fire suppression systems
Requirements
- 3 year minimum experience with Pyro-Chem & Pem-All systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with some electrical experience related to low voltage systems and sensors
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings confidently
- Hands-on experience with construction inspection processes and use of hand tools and power tools
- Must have clean driver's license
- Must be able to obtain Suffolk County FELB license, Nassau County Portable fire extinguisher C of F, FDNY S18, and FDNY W96
- Must be able to obtain manufacturer training certificates with Pem-All & Pyro-Chem
- Valid field service certification or relevant licenses preferred; willingness to obtain necessary certifications

Pay: $21.00 - $40.00 per hour
