Front of House – Ice Cream and Froyo

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their selections of ice cream, frozen yogurt, and toppings, ensuring a positive experience.
• Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare food items by scooping, topping, and serving ice cream or Froyo in accordance with food safety standards.
• Manage customer orders with speed and precision, upselling additional toppings or specialty items to enhance sales.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including ice cream machines, counters, and seating areas, adhering to sanitation regulations.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and accurately process cash transactions.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while supporting food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with operating kitchen equipment like ice cream machines or similar appliances is a plus.
• A positive attitude with a passion for creating fun experiences for guests in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
