What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids with Autism Need your Help position at BK Behavior?
We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). This position is open to paraprofessionals, special education specialists, childcare providers, and individuals with experience working with children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Prior ABA experience is not requiredtraining and support will be provided.
Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 behavioral support to children and adolescents with developmental needs

Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA

Support skill-building in communication, social interaction, and daily living skills

Assist with behavior management in home, school, or community settings

Collect basic data and communicate progress with supervisors and families

Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment
Qualifications:

Experience working with children in any setting (school, childcare, camps, after-school programs, etc.)

Experience working with children with ASD or developmental delays is a plus, but not required

Paraprofessional, special education, psychology, education, or related background encouraged to apply

Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills

Willingness to learn ABA principles and complete RBT training (if not already certified)

High school diploma required; college coursework in education, psychology, or related field is a plus
