Role Summary: As a Product Developer at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role for senior leadership and project management teams by fostering a culture of continuous communication and collaboration. This role requires an understanding of people, processes/workflow, and project management software in order to have the best fit in contributing to the long-term success of BJU Press.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and maintain key performance metrics aligned to product goals
- Build and structure scalable solutions for data tracking
- Develop and maintain dashboards with clear, real-time insights
- Create reports tailored to stakeholder and leadership needs
- Automate workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual work
- Troubleshoot formulas, data issues, and broken workflows
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and system reliability
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Develop and maintain standards and best practices
- Document systems and provide user support and training
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- Experience with Smartsheet or other project management tool
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use project management tools
- Ability to plan, schedule, update, track, and communicate status of projects
- Ability to adjust, recover, troubleshoot, and brainstorm
- Ability to help users understand and follow established processes
- Ability to prioritize and manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to be proactive in communication and the handling of project challenges
- Ability to multi-task
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 YOE
