POSITION SUMMARY: As a Makeup Artist at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Video Content team by performing makeup application for all on-camera personnel and assisting in making sure all courses have the required props needed for recording.

POSITION SUMMARY: As a Makeup Artist at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Video Content team by performing makeup application for all on-camera personnel and assisting in making sure all courses have the required props needed for recording.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the makeup department
• Procures necessary makeup supplies and inventory
• Provides makeup application for on-camera personnel using airbrush techniques
• Maintaining a clean supply of stock and keeping up with inventory needs
• Shopping for supplies on-line and locally
  
  

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE :

• Have a sense of design and color theory
• Excellent communication skills, written, and verbal
• Ability to work well with others in a creative environment
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work early morning hours to prepare teachers and studios before recording begins
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in cosmetology
• 1-2 years related experience

Required Experience: 1-2 years related experience
