Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling equipment
- Ensure accurate delivery by following assigned routes and schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Verify delivery contents against orders and obtain signatures when required
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after routes
- Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management or moving stock as needed
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving
- Customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients
- Experience operating commercial vehicles, including box trucks with manual transmission
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently during load & unload procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with
drivers preferred - Excellent navigation skills for route planning and driving in various environments
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving items, and extended periods of driving or standing
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively for timely deliveries
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
