Warehouse Associate

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Warehouse Technician to join our team at a leading cremation equipment company. This role combines hands-on warehouse operations with light mechanical and maintenance tasks, supporting the production, repair, and shipment of specialized cremation systems and components.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts and equipment
• Assist with assembly, disassembly, and light fabrication of cremation units and related machinery
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on warehouse tools and equipment
• Support inventory management: labeling, stocking, and cycle counts
• Prepare shipments, including crating, packaging, and documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams on equipment prep and troubleshooting
• Occasionally assist with field service prep or equipment staging

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse, mechanical, or maintenance role
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical systems
• General electrical knowledge (wiring, testing, safety) is a strong plus
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, or technical instructions
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Bonus Skills

• Welding, fabrication, or HVAC experience
• Experience in cremation, industrial furnace, or similar equipment industries
• Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
