Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily Emergency Department operations on assigned shifts.
- Provide direct patient care as needed and support complex clinical decision-making.
- Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and coach to nursing and support staff.

We specialize in a rapid assessment and treatment of patients when every second counts, particularly during the initial phase of acute illness and trauma. No one shift is like the other; no one minute is like the next.

Role Purpose
Under the direction of manager, plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a unit on a designated shift. Performs direct patient care as needed and functions as clinical resource to nursing and support staff. Assesses, plans, evaluates and documents the nursing process of assigned unit as needed.
