Sonographer (RDMS, RVT) - PRN (Farmington, MO)

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a PRN Sonographer (RDMS, RVT, or RDCS) for Parkland Health Center (1101 W Liberty St., Farmington, MO)

Position Details:

• PRN (work as needed - Holiday and Vacation coverage)
• Non – benefits eligible
• Brand New Ultrasound Machine - GE e10s
• Location is near -Doe Run, MO – Park Hills, MO – Sainte Genevieve, MO – Bonne Terre, MO - Desoto, MO - Washington County, St. Francis County, Iron County, Madison County, Jefferson County

Requirements:

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification RDMS, RVT (required)

Experience:

• New grads, upcoming student grads, and experienced encouraged to apply

Role Purpose

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging
