- Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, who will function in the capacity of Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Specialist (experience strongly preferred in safe patient handling)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced in Safe Patient Handling and Mobility
Certified Safe Patient Handling Associate
- 0800-1630 (no weekends, no holidays)
Overview
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The Rehab Administration department supports Missouri Baptist Medical Center's Therapy Services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Provides clinical resources, support and ancillary assistance for the physical therapy staff. Additionally, coordinates and leads efforts on behalf of the Physical Therapist Assistants in terms of their scope of practice and operational function within the hospital.
