Patient Care Manager Pre-op/post-op/PACU/Women's Outpatient Center/Interventional Pulmonology
- Lead a team of 80 nurses and support staff
- 2 Assistant Nurse Managers
- Work 5-8 or 4-10 hour shifts, M-F
- 10 PACU bays, 12 outpatient rooms
- 50-70 cases per day
- BSN preferred
- Supervisor/manager experience needed
Overview
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Role Purpose
Responsible for the operational and clinical management of a designated patient care unit(s) on a 24 hour basis. Oversees a span of control and financial responsibility of > 72 FTE's supervised > $2.5 million in total expenses OR > 40 FTE's supervised > $5 million in total expenses.
