OR Advanced Modality Technologist

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time OR Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Imaging) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - Plaza West Tower – Main Floor General Radiology

 Position Details:

• Day Shift: Mon, Wed, Friday  (5:30am to 6pm)
• NO Call or Weekends!!!! ***
• Extra Holiday Pay: Earn top dollar when you work on your 3 required holidays each year - 1 major (Thanksgiving or Christmas) &  2 minor (all other holidays)
• On-the-Job Training: Provided — experience preferred but not required
• Advanced Modality Technologist (AMT) position
• Extra Pay & Incentives:  5% Advanced Modality Differential Eligibility

Responsibilities:

• Operating Room (OR) - In-OR Experience: 90% of time spent in OR cases, including running C-arm, O-arm, taking interoperative and post-op recovery films, setting up C-arms, and sending images
• Provide imaging support to OR Pods. Vascular, Ortho, and Spine/Neuro
• Utilizing C-arms, O-arms, Radlink, Portable x-ray machines, etc.

 Experience:

• OR experience (Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred)

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
