BJC Corporate Health Services seeks a BC/BE Occupational Medicine Physician for the Occupational Health Medical Director position. This is an 0.2 FTE role. The Occupational Health Medical Director will provide overall professional leadership, direction, and coordination of medical services for the BJC Occupational Health team.
This role will:
- Advise and consult on recommendations from BJC committees to assist with injury prevention
- Provide standing orders for Emergency Care, Non-Emergency care and medications
- Participate in Development of metrics and dashboards related to occupational illness and injury
- Provide standing orders for vaccinations and titers for new employees or post exposure
- Consult via telephone with Bares Care providers on difficult to manage injuries or situations for BJC employees
- Establish medical and educational policies and procedures for the provision of services
- Present at Council for Occupational Health Professionals meetings
- Ensures compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations
An ideal candidate will:
- Be a strong collaborator with good communication skills
- Have flexibility working with the Occupational Health team
- Will have or be willing to obtain both Missouri and Illinois licensure
