Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Tracks and promotes quality of patient care as well as patient and visitor safety, in collaboration with quality and performance improvement activities. Minimize the frequency and severity of adverse events, manage and investigate the causes of those events to prevent injury and financial loss, and to advance awareness in order to identify risk related issues and trends. Quality management includes incident reporting, management of patient and family complaints related to quality of care, educational activities, and compliance with accreditation requirements. Proactive as well as reactive by providing support and regulatory guidance for risk reduction and process improvement by using activities such as root cause analysis and cause mapping in order to create and monitor action plans identified.
