Home infusion RN
Schedule
- Full‑time position (40 hours per week)
- Day shift, primarily 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with flexibility to meet operational and patient care needs
- Weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation as required to support home infusion services and clinical operations
Region / Location & Travel Expectations
- Role requires regular local travel throughout the BJC Home Care service area
- Travel may include visits to patient homes, infusion suites, and other BJC Home Care locations to support clinical oversight, staff, and program needs
- Travel is typically within the assigned region but may vary based on operational demands
Compensation / Travel
- Mileage reimbursement provided for eligible business travel in accordance with IRS guidelines

Overview
BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs.
BJC Home Care provides care to thousands of patients in both Missouri and Illinois. Serving more than 25 counties, it has become the largest home care network in the region and one of the largest in the country.
The Home Infusion Therapy Department of BJC Home Care Services works closely with physicians, patients and caregivers to enable patients to remain or return home while receiving intravenous medications. Our services include 24 hour on-call pharmacy and nursing services, comprehensive patient education materials, patient assessment and drug administration monitoring, and coordination of professional services including home care nursing and laboratory services.

Role Purpose
Evaluates the client and furnishes services requiring substantial and specialized skill, appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures, and instructions to assist the client in learning appropriate self-care techniques. When assigned as case manager, the staff nurse is responsible for coordinating all aspects of care related to that patient.
