BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Generalist Medical Laboratory Technician - MLT II (REG) for Core Lab located at Missouri Baptist Medical Center
$10,000 Automatic Sign On Bonus Eligible!!!
Position Details:
- Overnight Shift: 6:30pm – 7am
- 3 12-hour shifts per week
- Additional Pay: Differential for night, weekend, and holiday shifts, increasing hourly wages
- Weekend & Holiday Rotation: Every 3rd weekend; 1-2 holidays per year
- Full-time, non-remote, Generalist Lab Technologist
- Core Lab Responsibilities: Customer service, sendouts, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Processing, Urinalysis
- Lab Equipment: Cerner Millennium (LIS), Epic, Instrument Manager, Sysmex WAM, Cellavision, Biorad Unity, Wellsky, Roche, Ortho-Visions
Experience:
- Lab experience (preferred)
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Physical/Life Sciences or related field
- ASCP, AMT, or AAB Registration

Role Purpose
The Medical Lab Technician (MLT) II (REG) performs specimen processing and routine / complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities as required. Demonstrates good laboratory practice
