BJC is hiring for an EHR Application I Analyst. This is a remote position, but looking for applicants in the MO, KS, or IL area. We are looking for candidates with previous Epic Application Analyst experience. Epic Healthy Planet/Compass Rose certifications is highly preferred.
The Epic Healthy Planet/Compass Rose Analyst I supports the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Epic population health and care management applications. This position collaborates with clinical, operational, and technical teams to support care coordination, patient outreach, chronic disease management, population health initiatives, and value-based care programs. The analyst assists with application troubleshooting, system testing, workflow documentation, end-user support, and ongoing system improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and support of Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose applications.
- Support population health, care management, patient outreach, and care coordination workflows.
- Troubleshoot application issues and assist with identifying and implementing solutions.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, validation, and application enhancements.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, business stakeholders, and IT staff to gather requirements and improve workflows.
- Develop and maintain application documentation, workflow diagrams, test scripts, and support materials.
- Assist with end-user training and provide ongoing application support.
- Support population health reporting, registries, and data validation activities.
- Follow organizational policies, information security standards, and applicable patient privacy regulations.
- Participate in project meetings, change management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Under regular direction, the EHR Application Analyst I provides build support for Epic & other Clinical applications as it relates to change requests, maintenance and project business demands. Responsible for configuring, documenting, testing, modifying, supporting and maintaining software applications. Builds collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, clinical department users, Technology and other corporate departments to facilitate usage and acceptance of the system. Provides solutions or resolves end-user system issues. Epic or applicable certifications will be required within 6 months of hire.
