Director, Patient Care Services (Procedural Areas)

Director, Patient Care Services with oversight of the Procedural Areas at Barnes Jewish Hospital 

This nursing leader will have both direct and indirect reports with oversight of standardization and nursing practice for all procedural areas at Barnes Jewish Hospital.  They will need to navigate complex relationships with other nursing leaders, physician partners and senior leadership. They will work on aligning and standardizing processes within all procedural areas.

Responsible for directing patient care operations at their respective hospital/service organization(s). Role model service excellence and builds teams that collaborate with others to serve and exceed the expectations of the hospital's customers. Champions pro-active employee relations, manages conflict and/or change towards a productive outcomes. Strives for continuous improvement and business results that meet/exceed every customer's expectation.

Responsibilities

• Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
• Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
• Ensures the delivery of services meet all professional standards of care within accountable areas of influence at all times.
• Sets the department priorities in alignment with the priorities of the organization.
• Plans, develops, and directs operations of patient care services and integrates these services with other departments.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree

- Nursing

Experience

• 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

• 2-5 years

Licenses & Certifications

• RN

Preferred Requirements

Education

• Master's Degree

- Business/Nursing/related
