BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time Imaging Informaticist (1Rad) for BJC (St. Louis, MO)
Position Details:
- In-Office Hybrid Position: 1 day per week - work from home & 4 days per week work on-site at the Main Barnes Jewish (BJH) / Washington University Medical Campus
- Must reside in MO or IL and able to come onsite
- Must have or obtain within 6 months of hire - Epic Clinical Informaticist Certification
- Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Technology Team & the Radiology clinical operational teams across the BJC enterprise
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Radiology workflows utilized across our BJC organization & able to develop strong professional relationships with stakeholders
- Collaborate with business and operational partners
- Conducts onboarding training for all new Radiologists across the BJC organization including training all Radiologists on Epic Radiant, Sectra PACS, and PowerScribe (voice dictation system), among other applications
Skills & Experience
- 2- 5 years clinical radiology and/or imaging informatics experience
- Excellent organizational, presentation, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to work on several complex issues at the same time
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present data at various audience levels

Role Purpose
The Imaging Informaticist combines clinical science with healthcare information and communications technology strategies, such as Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and other medical imaging storage, processing and display applications, to reduce risk and improve patient care delivery. The Imaging Informaticist I utilizes informatics processes to gather data and process information to drive decision making to improve patient care and support professionals as they expand knowledge and wisdom for practice. The Imaging Informaticist I, in collaboration with organizational partners, applies system design life cycle processes to projects and programs to improve the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient healthcare services in accordance with best practice and professional and regulatory standards.
