What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Mechanic position at BJ's Service Group, Inc?
- Diagnose, Locate appropiate Parts, and Repair diesel engines on Heavy and light duty trucks
- Diagnose and repair heavy machinery
- Diagnose and repair brake systems on heavy trucks
- Reapir electrical issues on heavy and light duty trucks and equipment
- Diagnose and repair based on computer software codes being present in ECU
- Service trucks based on schedule
- Tire repair
- ability to bend, stand for long periods of time, lift 50 pounds or more, work outdoors when neccessary
Experience with heavy equipment, and a mulititde of truck and equipment types is a plus.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Computer experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
