Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. This role is essential to ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and that our guests receive high-quality meals prepared with care and attention to detail.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
• Handle food safely, following proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed.
• Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or catering settings.
• Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
• Experience with menu planning is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
