We’re looking for a seasoned buy-side professional (25–30 years of experience) who wants to leverage their network in a flexible, high-upside way.
Training Wheels for Hedge Funds is a new SaaS ecosystem designed specifically for emerging hedge fund managers and family offices. We combine practical education with boutique-scale tools that deliver institutional-quality workflows without the complexity or cost of enterprise platforms.
Our suite includes:
- BizTT.com — Hedge fund workflow education, simulators, and certification
- PorTru.com — Clean, fast personal portfolio tracking with live pricing and full data ownership
- LuciClara.com — Institutional partnership accounting and Private Wealth Hub for $1M–$25M AUM managers
We are seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative (commission-only) to introduce this suite to emerging managers, family offices, and RIAs. You will use your existing relationships and credibility to open doors and close business.
This is a true individual contributor role with significant autonomy. You control your time and approach.
What You’ll Do- Leverage your personal network to identify and engage prospective customers
- Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations
- Position the right product or full suite based on the prospect’s size and needs
- Manage the sales process from initial outreach through close
- Provide market feedback to help refine positioning and product direction
- 25–30 years of direct buy-side experience (portfolio management, trading, operations, compliance, or C-level roles at a hedge fund, family office, or RIA)
- Strong existing network in the hedge fund and family office community
- Consultative seller who understands the real operational challenges of running smaller or emerging funds
- Comfortable running demos and closing business independently
- Self-motivated and excited by the mission of helping the next generation of managers professionalize
Prior experience selling fintech, wealthtech, or SaaS is helpful but not required.
CompensationThis is a 100% commission, uncapped opportunity:
- 20% of first-year Annual Contract Value (ACV) on new customers
- 25% during the first 90 days (ramp period)
- 10% ongoing residual on renewals and expansions
- Additional bonus for multi-product / suite deals
You will be an independent contractor (1099). There is no base salary or draw.
