JOB DESCRIPTION

• Our Client is looking for a with a strong background in automated software testing. You will provide professional expertise in software test analysis, scripting in manual and automated test frameworks, test execution and reporting, allowing for continuous improvement in test efficiency, test cycle times, and completeness of testing coverage.
  
• You will also be responsible for defect management to include detection, analysis, logging, reviewing results with team members and retesting corrections.
  

RESPONSABILITIES

• Requirements analysis and test scenario development
  
• Ensuring end-to-end traceability from requirements to test cases to test results and securing entrance/exit criteria
  
• Development, setup, and execution of manual and automated test scripts
  
• Logging and recording of test outcomes/results
  
• Identifying, logging, and managing risks to testing schedules
  
• Implementing mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate issues, hindrances, and blockers impacting testing using company and industry best practice
  
• Regular reporting of progress/status of test execution
  
• Analysis and recovery from execution errors
  
• Defect management
  
• Test script libraries management
  
• Assisting UAT Leads on various testing techniques and tools, issues related to test analysis, scripting, execution, results reporting and monitoring and providing recommendations for improvement.
  

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• 8 years as a Test Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, or closely related testing/QA position
  
• 5 years leading testing of large-scale production n-tier systems
  
• Proficiency Required in:
  
• UiPath
  
• Oracle SQL
  
• MongoDB
  
• Java Spring application architecture (non-developer)
  
• Linux (navigation/log retrieval)
  
• WebLogic
  
• Must have expertise using all Azure DevOps services including Test Plans
  
• Developing test scripts in manual and automated test environments for Web and Client Applications (UiPath proficiency required)
  
• Strong SQL query skills in a relational database environment (Oracle)
  
• Strong skills in a non-relational database environment (MongoDB)
  
• Strong planning, negotiating, and influencing skillset
  
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  
• Critical listening and thinking skills
  
• Decision making/problem solving skills

Nice to have SKILLS

• Test driven development (TDD) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience.
  
• Knowledge of Risk Based and/or Scaled Agile delivery principles.
  
• Experience with Confluent Cloud and Kafka
  
• Understanding of Cloud computing architecture such as multi-tenant SaaS
  
• Experience integrating automated testing into a CI/CD pipeline
  
• Experience in the energy sector or related regulated industry
  
• Manager who will be conducting the interviews shared that he is looking for:
