Data Quality Specialist Job Description
The Data
Quality Specialist will be a key team member on the Global Transportation First
Mile team. The individual will need to be able to drive data analysis and
exploration to understand current limitations. The individual will utilize
their expertise to collaborate with key partners to understand requirements and
drive identification, analysis and remediation of data quality issues impacting
stakeholder’s ability to leverage companies data.
Data
will primarily be track and trace EDI milestone and/or API data events. We will be measuring completeness, accuracy,
and timeliness. This will involve
partnering with multiple outside parties (vendors), internal stakeholders
and scope may be across multiple supply chain technology platforms. Data testing for new implementations, changes
and/or fixes will also be required.
Requirements
Data Quality Specialist Qualifications
- Experience with
transportation EDI events such as 315s, ASNs, etc.
- Experience with problem
solving to improve KPIs around data quality.
- Minimum of three to five
years of professional experience in a global logistics role.
- Proven track record working
in a cross-functional, global, multi-team environment.
- Experience with data
management in ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc).
- Experience with and/or
ability to quickly learn complex systems.
