Seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and improve industrial machinery and plant equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical design, equipment repairs and upgrades, vendor sourcing, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D/3D mechanical designs, drawings, P&IDs, and schematics using AutoCAD.
- Design, evaluate, and improve industrial machinery and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Source replacement parts and coordinate equipment repairs and rebuilds with vendors.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams while managing project schedules.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5 years of industrial machinery or mechanical engineering experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and mechanical drafting.
- Strong knowledge of machine design, machining, tolerances, and assembly processes.
- Experience sourcing parts for industrial equipment repairs and rebuilds.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical wiring and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
