Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Virginia. This role is responsible for prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities, managing a pipeline of potential clients, and conducting discovery meetings to understand technology and security needs. The Account Executive will prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations, coordinate with technical and implementation teams to scope solutions, and oversee the sales process from initial contact through contract execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Biztec’s service lines, and accurately tracking activities and results in CRM tools. The role also involves staying current on Biztec’s offerings and partner technologies, representing the company at local events, and contributing feedback to improve sales processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and account management skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
- Experience selling technology-related services such as physical security, or other technology, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid business acumen, including needs analysis, solution-based selling, and familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales reporting.
- Self-directed work style with strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in an on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, particularly within technology, security, or professional services industries, is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams, and a willingness to learn about cybersecurity, physical security, and IT infrastructure concepts.
