Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a project lead and/or business analyst to build and manage web development projects from start to finish
- Communicate well by clarifying expectations and setting directives to get the work done.
- Conduct regular meetings with the team members with an emphasis on recognition, growth, and accountability
- Create and manage project schedules
- Communicate tasks and effort to your team
- Deliver progress reports and deliverables to the client
- Manage/mitigate risks and scope creep
- Work in tandem with the sales team to Initiate change requests
- Conduct recurring meetings with the team and clients
- Allocate resources to projects
- Work with the project management team to develop processes
- Develop/suggest tools to make our projects more successful.
- Challenge current business practices in an effort to promote efficiency and adoption of better practices/standards on both a team and company level.
What You Bring:
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 2 years of experience managing a development team
- Knowledge of project management processes, workflow, and terminology
- Outstanding communication skills. Like seriously, you need to be great at this.
- Agile project methodologies and experience as a scrum master
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong ability to self-direct
- Experience managing web/software development projects
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Atlassian Suite, including PM tools such as Jira
- Office 365 experience
- Google Suite experience
- Prior experience in a consulting/agency environment
